Nannies of the Valley Policies and Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liability
For the well-being of the nanny/nannies, childcare will not be provided to sick (fever, vomiting, etc...) children. If the nanny determines the child to be sick (showing signs/symptoms of illness) the parent/guardian will be expected to return immediately and the nanny shall receive payment of (no less than) the four hour minimum or more.
Medications will not be administered by the nanny/nannies.
If your child is not potty trained, please leave a diaper bag with the appropriate necessities to change their diaper.
You must be available to answer any text messages or phone calls you receive from the nanny/nannies.
Nanny payment is due upon your return, in the hourly amount discussed upon booking (please see your confirmation email to confirm amount). Nannies accept cash, check or Venmo. Gratuity not included, suggested gratuity is 20%.
The agency booking fee is non-refundable. You must cancel with 24 hours notice or a minimum of 4 hours will be charged to pay the nanny for reserving her time.
I, the undersigned, hereby hold harmless, waive and release Nannies of the Valley, their childcare workers, officers, representatives, agents, organizers, successors and subcontractors from liability as a result of personal injury or property damage occurring while my child/children is/are in the care of Nannies of the Valley. I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to my child(ren) or myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness (including Covid-19), damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I or my child(ren) may experience or incur in connection with my child(ren)’s using a nanny/nannies provided by Nannies of the Valley. I have read, understand, and agree to adhere to the Childcare Policies and Procedures of Nannies of the Valley listed above.
