INFORMATION FOR NANNIES

At Nannies of the Valley, the nanny is offered the same respect that the family they serve has come to expect. As a gifted, creative and perceptive individual, each nanny has much to offer, making a significant impact in the lives of the children they care for. What job could be more important?

As a nanny, you may be assured that we will offer you our support and advice anytime you need it. You will never be pressured to take a job you do not want or to remain in a job that you are unhappy with. Nor will we knowingly place you in a problematic or potentially abusive work situation. Your welfare is our concern.

Experience required
Nannies of the Valley has built its reputation by placing nannies that love children with families that respect them. This is our major focus and passion. The jobs that we offer a professional nanny are the best paying positions in the region. To be considered for a nanny job, you must have a minimum of two years child-related work experience. You will need to have excellent, verifiable references. A high school diploma and college are a plus. Nannies need a driver's license from the U.S and live-out nannies need to own a car. Live-in nannies are generally provided with a car. If interested, please fill out our online pre-application (below) so we may further assist you. Responsibilities and tasks
The nanny's responsibilities are focused on the child. In the job you will be responsible for only child-related chores and very light housekeeping. The families generally have one or two children, aged from birth to school-age. Most of our jobs are with preschool age kids.

Positions, salaries and hours
The nanny jobs salary range from $12-$20 per hour depending on experience and education. Live-out nanny positions are generally Monday through Friday, eight to ten hours daily. Live-in nannies work either Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday for ten to twelve hours per day. Live-in nannies are provided with a private room and a private bathroom. Some live-in nanny jobs have a separate guesthouse. We have a very high demand for part-time nannies and we can accommodate many different nanny schedules.
