Nannies of the Valley has built its reputation by working with qualified nannies that love and care deeply for the happiness and safety of children. This is our major focus and passion.
To be considered for a nanny job, you must have a minimum of two years child-related work experience. You will need to have excellent, verifiable references. A high school diploma and college are a plus. Nannies need a driver's license from the U.S. If interested, please fill out our online pre-application (below) so we may further assist you. From there we will set up a formal appointment to meet with you in person. We do not place nannies in permanent positions- we specialize in On-Call services only.
Responsibilities and tasks
The nanny's responsibilities are focused on the child. The families generally have one or two children, aged from birth to school-age. Most of our bookings are with preschool age children. You will be expected to always engage and entertain the children.
You must complete a criminal background screening and have a certification in CPR and First Aid.
